Decision on Pulau Batu Puteh.

I managed to follow half of the judgment and watching the historic decision made by the ICJ.

ICJ has ruled that by 12-4 decision that Singapore has the sovereignity over Pulau Batu Puteh while Malaysia owns Middle Rocks.

I just can't help telling to myself that how disappointed i am eventhough our Foreign Minister during his interview said that it was a 'win win situation'.

I'm sorry i can't see it as a win win situation because in reality that Singapore has streched another 12 nautical miles of it's territory and all natural resources and minerals in the territorial waters will now belong to Singapore.

And, i had the opportunity to have a chit chat with a friend lawyer who was once a Navy officer where he told me that Pulau Batu Puteh is extremely important to Singapore when it comes to it's national defence and security especially to avoid it's aircraft to be caught by Malaysian radar defence system.

He told me if once an aircraft being traced by radar, the pilot and the aircraft is already 'died cold blooded'.

Before the decision, based on the facts, i strongly believe that Malaysian representatives had done a very convincing arguements on why Pulau Batu Puteh must belong to Malaysia. HOWEVER, i do not know why but my instinct keep on telling me that the decision will favour Singapore.

It is a sad to see malaysia lost it's sovereignity on another land and ironically to Singapore.

p/s: Malaysia had already lost to Singapore for many occasions. Why so noise?? Life goes on as usual la.!!.??

Bro Abafahim, kenapa pulak Najib & Rais Yatim kata keputusan ICJ adalah win win situation? Menteri kita ni faham tak kita dah kehilangan wilayah & kedaulatan?

En Ram Gagasan;

Setuju!

Tepuk kepala tanya akal!!

Itulah akibatnya kalau negara bekas tanah jajahan, semua tindakan kuasa kolonial yang tentukan...hanya kerana sepucuk surat kita hilang tanah...benarlah menang sorak kampung tergadai...

Bullshit kalau diorang kata win2 situation... Kalah tu kalah je laa.

p/s: Bak kata Tan Sri Isa waktu Malaysia kalah tinju pada Thailand suatu ketika dulu : "Alaa, dah tumbuk tak kuat... kalah laa"

Aku mmg dah agak kita kalah. Our argument not strong enough.

We created the precedent in Pulau Sipadan case. Since Singapore is maintaining the Pulau Batu Putih, so they are the rightfull owner. Our argument was, it belongs to Johor since long time ago but Who maintained it? Singapore.
